The darkness is taking over the sky, as the winter sun sets in the distance. The silhouette of the trees mimics an electrocardiography chart on the horizon. Using a long exposure, the flow of the river is softened and the water acts like a smooth canvas painting the light.
The tops of the tulips are cut off to encourage nutrients and growth to the bulb. The remaining foliage is left to dry and turn yellow before being dug up in the summer to store.
Spikes of grape hyacinth flows over the landscape like a river stream. Fragrant and bright, I am thankful for my senses of sight and smell. Mother nature requires no filters or editing, just our appreciation
